Robert Vinokur's Playhouse aims to inject a little South Beach smack dab in the middle of Hollywood’s burgeoning nightlife scene. The nearly 13,000-square foot nightclub (designed by the same design firm behind STK and Villa, Manhattan-based Icrave), aims to dazzle clubbers who find the old Fox theater by accident, or on purpose, at Wilcox Ave. Expect name DJs from Europe and a 24-hour modern diner concept attached (dubbed “Sweet Love Hangover”) that clubbers can hit before, after or during their evening for some alcohol-absorbing comfort food. Sleek and hyper-modern, the interior decoration is young, energetic and decadent, the kind of place you might stumble across Kim Kardashian or Joe Francis on your way past the velvet rope. The sound system is state of the art and was designed by Dan Agne from Sound Investments (known for work at Cielo New York, Vanguard, and Beta Nightclub in Denver). The lighting system at the Fox was designed by Steve Lieberman of SJ Lighting, known for his work at Tao Las Vegas, Cherry Las Vegas, and Crobar New York. The interior is spacious, with a vaulted ceiling, muted lighting and white leather stools and couches strewn about – all in close proximity to one of the enormous

Like its next-door neighbor Social Hollywood, Boulevard3 is a large, mansion-style venue that at one point belonged to the Hollywood Athletic Club (the space used to house the club’s pool). A tunnel links the two venues, but Boulevard3 is a separate club with its own entrance. Fancy cabanas surround a fire pit outside. Inside, the dance floor makes up nearly the entire bottom floor. The second-level VIP area treats every table to its own plasma TV. When it’s not hosting large corporate-sponsored events and parties, the venue opens for club nights featuring hip-hop and house music. Always a sexy crowd. Don't bother showing up if your not!

Swinging
Celebrity Hotspot
The
larger of two bars in STK Restaurant, this trendy
nightspot sizzles and is a celebrity magnet. The
décor dazzles with color, the vibe is pure
sexy, and the crowd is hot. There’s even a
pair of swings hanging from the ceiling. Great DJs
and hip music make this a Hollywood winner. Just
watch out for the papparazi on your way in…that
is, if you can get in. Good luck!
